A new bar called Fuel Orlando (Facebook | Website) will be opening next to Frosty’s Christmastime Lounge at 50 E. Central Boulevard [GMap] in Downtown Orlando.

Fuel will take over the current front entryway and the back piece of Frosty’s, separated by a wall but sharing the same bar and kitchen, which will be serving up tater tots and grinder subs.

Co-owner of the bar, Todd Ulmer, told Bungalower that the front bar area will remain Christmas-themed but the new Fuel will focus more on cars and rock ‘n’ roll. Ulmer’s company, Beacon Hill Group, operates multiple Orlando properties, including Muddy Waters, Stardust Lounge, and Aku Aku.

Interesting features include a large mural comprised of vintage gig and movie posters are being decoupaged along an entire wall of the space. The bathrooms have been filled with funky stickers with room for patrons to add some of their own.

Current posted operating hours for the new bar are 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday to Thursday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m.-2 a.m. Sunday.

An opening date is yet to be announced.
