The City of Orlando is looking for an Assistant Sign Designer in the Transportation Engineering department.

The Assistant Sign Designer (ASD) is responsible for technical work like assisting in the design, layout, and fabrication of traffic control signage that is installed within the City of Orlando.

Work includes vehicle lettering, window layouts, and custom signage generation using graphic design and hand-drawn artwork.

The ASD performs general maintenance on the machines and maintains an inventory of all of the supplies associated with sign fabrication.

Work hours are 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m., four days a week, with some weekends and holidays depending on division needs.

Minimum starting salary is $15.87 to $19.82 per hour, depending on qualifications.
