Eyes on the Street: Something is moving into the Winter Park Carmel space

We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.

“Don’t have a photo by the monument sign at the old Carmel Kitchen Wine Bar in Winter Park is covered up with a giant baggie. Might indicate a change is in the works.” – Dan Luby

Carmel Kitchen and Wine Bar closed their Winter Park restaurant in January of this year.

Now, a new concept called Cinco Taco and Tequila will be moving into the vacant 4,500 SF space at 140 N. Orlando Avenue [GMap].

There’s not much information online about the new concept, but the address listed in their Facebook and Instagram accounts match up.
