We told you back in May that Korean-American multi-media artist, Jiha Moon, would be exhibiting at the Mennello Museum, HERE. Well, the opening is this Friday, June 29, preceded by an Artist Talk at 5:30 p.m.

Moon’s work is whimsical and pretty and rooted in a skillful juxtaposition of traditional Asian cultural elements alongside more contemporary design elements like emojis and video game characters.

Moon has created 20 small ceramic sculptures that are available exclusively at the Mennello Museum for this upcoming exhibition. These hand-painted porcelain Fortune Cookie Mayumi measure 5 x 4 x 5 inches and are currently selling for $250.

You can pre-purchase them HERE and pick them up at the Friday opening reception.
