An event that blends the theme of Marvel’s hit movie Black Panther with actual African history will be coming to Orlando by way of Tampa this fall.

A Night in Wakanda is an immersive event that features a dinner of traditional African cuisine, live musical performances, a cash bar featuring African wine and beer, and a tour of the host venue, the Bronze Kingdom ( Facebook). Bronze Kingdom is a 16,000 SF gallery located in the Fashion Square Mall.

There will also be a presentation on African history by author and historian, Dr. Runoko Rashidi.

Guests must be at least 15 years old to attend and are encouraged to wear African fashion.

The event takes place 6-9 p.m. September 1 and tickets are available HERE for $30-125.
