Team Market Group, the company that owns a collection of popular downtown venues like Celine Orlando (Website) and Mathers Social Gathering (Website), are currently working on a new lounge space, just up the street from their Magnolia Avenue properties.
The Robinson (Instagram) will be a cocktail room located on the second floor of 63 E. Pine Street [GMap], a vacant retail space tucked above the former home of Red Mug Diner.
According to TMG, The Robinson will be a “hip and have more of a hangout vibe.” The cocktail program is promised to be robust, as they are currently building out a whole scratch kitchen to support an ambitious menu of innovative drinks.
An opening date hasn’t been set, but they are hoping to open by the end of the year.
A new concept for the vacant Red Mug space is also under development and will likely host a coffee/cocktail-related shop. This idea is still in the works, but we were told that Duvin Design Co. (Website) has expressed interested in having a retail presence in there as well.
