The Orange County Library System is looking to hire a new instructor for their Fab Lab in the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center in the Downtown Branch.

The Fab Lab (fabrication laboratory) offers hands-on classes in subjects like 3-D printing, electronics, basic engineering, computer programming, robotics, and more, all for free.

The new instructor would aid in planning and conducting maker workshops for staff and visitors to the Melrose Center. Candidates must have strong skills and knowledge in technology and have a working knowledge in Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, CAD or 3-D drawing software, MS Office, C & Python, and experience in teaching.

The position is full-time and pays $19.08 an hour.
