UPDATE – Mark Ferguson has confirmed that he has sold Ferg’s Depot.

Ferg’s Depot (Facebook | Website), the ambitious tenant of the historic Church Street Station has closed.

The 15,000 SF restaurant/bar took over three years to open and hit a number of hurdles along the way, mostly related to the fact that they were renovating one of the oldest structures in the City in a designated historic district.

Bungalower spoke with owner Mark Ferguson in July 2017 when he had announced that he was trying to sell the business and focus on his St. Pete location. More on that HERE.  Ferguson had been looking for an equity partner or an outright buyer for the Church Street venue.

According to a report by Faiyaz Kara for Orlando WeeklyFerg’s employees were notified Saturday that that night would be their last night of service.

We’ve reached out to Ferguson for further comment.
