The Miami-based real estate developer, Alex Vadia of Midtown Opportunities, has purchased one of the last vacant properties in Baldwin Park’s town center.

The 0.82-acre lot is located at 4787 New Broad Street [GMap], in the heart of Baldwin Park, and is planned to host a new seven-story mixed-use building with ground floor retail and 122 apartment units.

The building, currently called the Baldwin House, will have features like a swimming pool, pet salon, and outdoor fenced-in pet area, among others.

Vadia’s company also owns the current home of the Orlando Sentinel, purchased for roughly $35 million in 2016.

A construction timeline has not been released.
