UPDATE: A spokesperson of Earl Enterprises, the parent company of Buca di Beppo, reached out with the following quote:

” A simple explanation is that the real property is for sale–we are a tenant of the building. A new owner would then become our landlord–we have years left on our lease and love being in the Maitland community. The change in ownership will not cause any change for Buca in Maitland.” – Amy Sadowsky, Earl Enterprises

The Maitland Buca Di Beppo property is for sale.

The property is located at 1351 S. Orlando Avenue [GMap], across the street from Enzian Theater. The 1.35-acre lot faces 17-92 and is host to an 8,000 SF+ building that was built in 1959 and renovated in 2000.

The asking price is $3,800,000.

According to the listing on LoopNet, Buca Di Beppo (Website) signed a 20-year, absolute triple-net lease in October 2005, with a 1.5 percent annual rent increase. One of 92 locations nationwide, the restaurant specializes in large, a la carte, family-style Italian dishes. The chain was purchased by Planet Hollywood International in 2008.

We’ve reached out to corporate to see what the sale means for the future of this location. Store management declined to respond. See above for quote.
