A new local startup called Mosquito County Tours (Facebook), a nod to Orange County’s original name,  will take Orlando diners on regular walking tours of local Orlando neighborhoods. The most recent being an upcoming trip to Mills 50’s Little Vietnam neighborhood.

The intersection of Mills Avenue and Colonial Drive has housed one of the longest, predominantly Asian communities in the state. Tour-goers will take a 3-hour hike through the neighborhood to look at the history, culture, art, and most importantly, the food, of this area.

The tour begins at 11 a.m. so guests are asked to come 15 minutes early and rally in the parking lot behind Mamak Asian Street Food, located at 1231 E. Colonial Drive [GMap]. Tickets are $75 and are available HERE for purchase and include food and beverages at each of the seven main stops along the route.

Editor’s Note: Rumor has it that Tasty Chomps‘ Ricky Ly will be in attendance. Ly is super-famous now and has hosted a wonderful series we wrote about HERE called Vietnamese Orlando with Ricky Ly for WUCF/PBS.
