We told you HERE back in September 2016 that Demetree Global was looking into redeveloping the former Lombardi’s Seafood property into a mixed-use property called the “Winter Park Station.” That project recently hit a roadblock according to a report by the Orlando Business Journal

The Winter Park-based company is still looking to transform the 45,000 SF property at the southeastern intersection of Orlando and Orange into a more walkable development but under a new name; Gateway Garden Station.

Demetree is hoping to include retail, office, and residential along with a potential SunRail stop with an estimated opening date of 2022. This would mean that the City of Winter Park would need to update its zoning for the property, which currently houses a longer-term pop-up retail use, The Heavy.

The property is located at 1152 Harmon Avenue [GMap].
