UPDATE – Visage is no longer coming to Orlando and will be replaced by Queer Eye For the Straight Guy and fellow RuPaul fam, Carson Kressley.
Michelle Visage, of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame, will be a grand marshal at Orlando’s Come Out With Pride parade on Saturday, October 13.
Visage (Website) will be playing second-fiddle to community organizer and warrior angel, Nancy Rosado, a former NYPD sergeant and mental health advocate for 9/11 first responders, who will be serving as community grand marshal of the parade. Rosado has also made a name for herself for her role in helping families of Pulse survivors and in the local Latinx community.
Come Out With Pride will run from October 8-14 with activities being hosted all across the region, that culminates in the community parade that Saturday at Lake Eola Park.
