Todd Ulmer of Beacon Hill Group informed Bungalower last week that he has sold his New Orleans-style restaurant, Muddy Waters.

The restaurant, located in the bottom floor of South Eola’s Sanctuary 101 Eola building, opened in June 2017 in the former home of Mucho Tequila and Tacos. The concept was spearheaded by the talents of Bernard Carmouche, a one-time Chef de Cuisine for Emeril’s New Orleans.

The new owners of the restaurant are none other than Brian Buttner and Jonathan Canonaco of the Stubborn Mule, located just across the street. According to a recent report by Scott Joseph, HERE, the new name of the space will be Menagerie Eatery and Bar. See his full report for more information.

An actual opening date for the new concept is yet to be announced.
