According to their Facebook page, Blue Bird Bake Shop (Facebook | Website) has been sold to new owners.
The award-winning bakery made a name for themselves with their rich, scratch-made cupcakes and cookie offerings and has been in operation since 2012.
The shop is located at 3122 Corrine Drive [GMap] in the Audubon Park Garden District.
No public statement has been made by the new owners but you can read the farewell posted by past owners Jeff Lambert and Joel Pfrogner below. Lambert told Bungalower that they will be in the shop for the next two weeks wrapping things up and help with the transition in ownership before taking a long overdue vacation.
