Va Propst and Trina Gregory Propst, co-owners of Se7enbites Bake Shop in the Milk District, have announced that they are opening a new Italian restaurant concept.

According to a report by Orlando Weekly‘s Faiyaz Kara, the restaurant will be dinner-only and will be called Sette, which means “seven” in Italian, and serve up risottos and scratch-made pasta. Trina told Bungalower that the rustic Italian-comfort concept, including the savory menu, is being spearheaded by her partner Va but that she will be handling the dessert menu.

Another feature of the new concept will be how the couple plans to take advantage of the new state liquor laws that allow them to serve full liquor but with a smaller amount of seats; 80 versus the original 150.

While they’ve been quoted as saying they are opening the new space in Downtown Orlando, they’re keeping their options open and giving a serious look at the Winter Park area. A timeline for opening ultimately depends on the space they choose to move into and the amount of work that will need to be done to get through permitting.
