The Herndon branch of the Orange County Library System is turning 20 next month.

The branch, which serves mainly Baldwin Park and Azalea Park, has been open since 1998 and is located in the Colonial Promenade shopping center. They offer a variety of free programming and events, including Citizenship Inspired, which has helped hundreds of residents to take the Naturalization exam.

Their 20th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 3 from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and will feature games, trivia, and an appearance by Jiggleman – which is not an evil man that sleeps under your bed and steals your socks but rather a great local performer and we’re sorry we made assumptions when reading his name.
