The Milk District Main Street (Website) has announced the hiring of Zac Alfson as their new Executive Director.

Alfson has an extensive background in nonprofit management and community building to bring to the table in order to enhance and preserve the district’s small business community and will take the reigns in early December.

“He brings the creative energy and proven leadership to bring together Milk District businesses and residents to ensure our future as a vibrant, diverse destination for locals and visitors alike”

Most recently, Alfson served as the patron engagement manager for the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park and has extensive experience in the Main Street America programs, having served on committees with Mills50 and Church Street District in Orlando.

“I’m thrilled to step into this position with the district,” said Alfson. “The Milk District has long been a home, and I am looking forward to energizing the vision of the committed business community and our neighbors throughout the region to make The Milk District an amazing place to live, work, and play.”
