The 16th issue of our penny-saver, mini-magazine has been out on the stands for weeks but in case you didn’t get your paws on them, we’ve started providing them online as well!

December’s Solstice-themed issue features our regular calendar of the month’s hottest events, a roundup of great December reads by our friends at the Orange County Library System, the history behind the Happy Holidays/New Year sign in Ivanhoe Village, and a special recipe for anginettes (Italian Wedding Cookies) from the fam over at Stasio’s Italian Deli in the Milk District.

This month’s centerfold is none other than the Snow Queen herself, Opulence Black. Opulence Black is the creative director at Black Haus Productions and a local Queen who can be seen performing at venues across town including Creature Feature Tuesdays at Stonewall Orlando, 741 W. Church Street [GMap].

Shout out to this month’s sponsors for making it happen – the Orange County Public Library System, the Downtown Orlando Partnership’s Deck the DTO, Spirit Airlines and the USVI Tourism Bureau, the Orlando Museum of Art’s Nouveau: A Glamorous New Year’s Eve event,  Trivia Night at The Hammered Lamb,  The Hive Beauty Bar in Mills 50, and Carjoy, an on-demand car service launched here in the City Beautiful.
