Palmer’s Garden and Goods (Facebook | Website) is looking to add alcohol sales alongside their robust plant offerings in their popular Audubon Park store.

Palmer’s filed for a Conditional Use Permit which will be read at the February 19 Municipal Planning Board hearing at Orlando City Hall. The permit would allow for alcohol sales and consumption within 500-1,000 ft of Audubon Park K-8.

According to their pitch, which you can see below, PAlmer’s hopes to install one or two bar stools on-site but encourage customers to purchase wine and beer before walking around the garden center. They would continue to close at 8 p.m. and no later than 10 p.m. during private events.

Another part of the application calls for a package store license so they could sell select wine or beer alongside their current gift and plant selection.

Palmer’s Garden and Goods is located at 2611 Corrine Drive [GMap].
