The Property Appraiser will be bringing satellite pop-up offices to neighborhoods across Orange County throughout January and February to answer questions and sign up homeowners for property-based tax exemptions, including Homestead, Widow/Widower, Military and Disabled Veterans, Limited Income Senior, and Trust documentation.
The Homestead Exemption, in particular, can reduce the taxable value of your property by up to $50,000, which could save you about $750 a year. Applications are due by March 1 of this year.
