The team behind the College Park Farmers Market (Facebook | Instagram) have announced that they are discontinuing the event series.

The announcement was made on the CPFM’s various social accounts with the following message:

Another reason given in the comment sections of the Facebook post is that the owners of Grounding Roots, who largely ran the market, were too busy focusing on family and opening their upcoming Downtown location to continue the work.

They did say that they would certainly be “… happy to pass the torch” if a local resident was interested in continuing the market on their own.

Participating vendors have included, Solace Farms, Slow Turtle Farm, Azalea Acres Farm, Naked Bar Soap Co., Orlandough, Woof! Orlando, College Park Acupuncture,
Three Girls Bakery, Oxx Beekeeping, Little Blue Donut Co., Fleet Farming, and Olde Hearth Bread Co.

The market ran every Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 710 W. Princeton Street [GMap].
