EDIT: Jeff Stelter is also a partner in this project.

The team behind hit arcade bar Joysticks (Website) have announced that they will be opening a new Halloween-themed speakeasy venue just up the street from their current space.

Cocktails and Screams (Facebook | Website) will be opening in the former 39 Pine space located at 39 W. Pine Street [GMap] in Downtown Orlando.

According to their website, they will be hiding “keys” all over the City that, once found, will give the lucky individual entry to their yet-to-be-announced launch party. Follow their socials for more updates on how and when you can take part in that treasure hunt and click HERE for a more thorough breakdown of the ongoing promotion.

Two of the owners, Addie and James Morrone, are prop and scenery designers and have worked for multiple theme park projects and handcraft all of their furniture and decorations for their venues and this new space will be no different; they posted a photo on their facebook page of a box filled with 205 skulls to be used on their bar front. When finished the bar will feature roughly 443 skulls.

An opening date is yet to be announced, but according to a bar graph on their website, Cocktails and Screams is roughly 50% finished.

They’re currently hiring for all positions and have an application form posted HERE.
