A new brewery is scheduled to soft-open noon on February 14 at 10 W. Illiana Street
[GMap], just in time for some Valentine’s Day cold ones.
We first told you about Rockpit Brewing (Website) HERE in 2017. Since then, the team has been hard at work creating their coal-country-themed brewery, taproom, and homebrew store.
The new 5,000 SF facility will be operating a full homebrew supply store onsite and will host regular homebrew competitions in collaboration with local homebrewer’s group, Brewer’s Anonymous (Website).
Food will be provided by Cecil’s BBQ, which will be providing a custom menu just for the bar and hand-delivered from next door (they’re neighbors).
A grand opening is being scheduled for March.
