In these one-day workshops, you will learn to create sculptures through the art of welding. Local artists Jim Hosner and Michael Moffett will lead you through the basics of welding, from safety measures all the way through to creating your own steel sculpture using arc welding, cutting, and finishing techniques. Everything will take place at our Foundry Yard, on the historic A&H Maitland grounds.

In reaction to the air pollution, dredge-and-fill projects, and pesticides that spread across Florida during the 20th century, an environmental movement rose up, often led by women who shaped how the Sunshine State reveres its rich natural resources.
