The City of Orlando is hiring a temporary position for their Public Food Waste Collection program.
The Public Food Waste Collection Associate is meant to support the Solid Waste Project Managers in developing, implementing, and maintaining the new Food Waste Recycling pilot program.
They are responsible for staffing food waste drop-off stations at public events and oversee public participation in the program.
Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in public speaking and education/outreach is desired.
The starting salary for this position is $12 an hour.
