Juice Bike Share was Orlando’s first public bike share program and it launched in 2016 2015 and since then, Juice riders have taken over 115,000 trips and ridden over 200,000 miles. But that will end on March 24.

The company’s initial contract with the City of Orlando is ending and they’ve already begun removing stations, but, according to a press release issued yesterday, they will be launching a new and improved dockless bike share program very soon powered by HOPR.

According to the release, the updated bikes will be easier to unlock and ride. Juice members will have their remaining account balance transferred to the new HOPR system.

Juice lovers who will miss the big orange bikes can actually own their own piece of Orlando history as they will be available for purchase for $499.

The sharing lock and controller will be removed. If you are interested in owning a piece of history email [email protected].
