Award-winning restaurateurs James and Julie Petrakis, owners of The Ravenous Pig family of restaurants, have launched a new beer label called Ravenous Pig Brewing Company, under the oversight of their current brew master Larry Foor.

The Petrakises (or the Petrakii as we say in the Bungalower offices) have purchased the building next door to The Ravenous Pig restaurant, located at 565 W. Fairbanks Avenue [GMap].

The new brewery will be the production and distribution hub for the neighboring flagship restaurant, as well as for their sister restaurant, The Polite Pig at Disney Springs. The brewery will also supply Cask & Larder-branded beers for their restaurant located in Terminal B of Orlando International Airport.

The new 3,000 SF brewery is six times the size of the current five-barrel brewing system located in the rear of The Ravenous Pig restaurant. Ravenous Pig Brewing Company will feature a 15-barrel system, with 30-barrel fermenters.

Construction on the space began in early March and is expected to be completed this summer.

The property where the brewery is located will also house an event space located outside the brewery which will be available for event rentals with catering provided by Ravenous Pig.
