New designs have been released for Ponte Health Properties pie-in-the-sky Vertical Medical City development.

The much-touted development has reportedly settled on a large vacant commercial lot in the North Quarter, located at 1000 N. Orange Avenue [GMap], just south of Florida Capital Bank.

The project was approved by the FAA to bulid a 444-foot tall building in Downtown Orlando, back in February. That would be the tallest building to be approved in the area in the past 30 years.

Pre-construction testing has already been carried out on the property and these plans are the first to be released since our earlier report HERE in the first quarter of 2018 where the tallest of the planned buildings was hoping to top out over 500-feet tall.

The lofty three-towered project is hoped to provide integrated health care services from preventative to critical, as well as assisted-living and hospice programs.

This project is obviously still in development and not an approved development at this time.
