Pizza Bruno leaving Orange County Brewers

-

We told you HERE in October 2018 that Bruno Zacchini III, of Pizza Bruno fame, was taking over the food stall in Orange County Brewers in Downtown Orlando. Well, he just announced that he’s pulling the plug on that location to focus on his two other big idea babies; Slice by Pizza Bruno in Mills 50 and a bagel concept in College Park.

The downtown satellite location at 131 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] neglected to take off in the six-month run it had and according to what Zacchini told Faiyaz Kara at Orlando Weekly, it’s just the tough reality of doing business downtown.

One of the managing members of the Orange County Brewer’s ownership team told Bungalower that they’re already at work finding a new operator for the food stall and that we would be hearing more very soon.

We suggest a rotating series of pop-ups. Speaking of which, Pizza Bruno will be popping up at Whippoorwill Beer House and Package Store in the Milk District from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24. Click HERE for more information.
