Heart of Florida United Way wants you to jump off a tall building

PROMO: The Heart of Florida United Way (Website) will host an interesting fundraiser on Saturday, May 11 where participants will get the chance to rappel down the face of one of Orlando’s tallest buildings.

Over the Edge with Mission United will take place at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, which offers roughly 15 stories of building to rappel down.

The fundraiser is a first-come-first-serve event that is limited to 76 participants. Individuals are asked to raise a minimum of $1,000 each to secure their slot. No experience is needed but participants must weigh between 110 and 300 pounds and be at least 14 years of age.

Heart of Florida United Way works with veteran programs covering issues like unemployment and health assistance.
