Edit: This story originally said “Maitland City Center” but we were informed that Scott Joseph was offended by our spelling so we changed it.

The Outpost restaurant, which opened in College Park in early 2015, will be moving to Maitland by this fall.

One of the co-owners of Outpost, Julie Casey, told Bungalower that they would be moving their concept into the Maitland City Centre (Website) into the last open retail space available at the new complex, located at 190 Independence Lane, Maitland [GMap].

The new space is roughly twice as large as their current home, measuring in at 4,400 SF, which will allow the Caseys to add a new provisions/dry goods market to sell their own line of scratch-made condiments like their popular Cajun butter, Outpost Sauce, and special ketchups.

They will also have an indoor/outdoor bar and patio.

The College Park location will stay open through the opening of the new space, which is expected to happen in mid-October.

A second phase of the build-out of the new space will happen in the next year but we’ve been sworn to secrecy. Stay tuned for more information on that expansion in the coming months.
