We told you it was coming.

The Florida Department of Transportation will be holding a public meeting/open house as part of their new Robinson Street Concept Development Study.

The event will be held 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at the First Unitarian Church, 1901 E. Robinson Street [GMap].

The open house is being conducted to present recommended improvements that were identified during an initial planning phase of the study. The project team will now be instructed to seek public input and solicit their public feels about their project which will primarily focus on multimodal enhancements along approximately two miles of Robinson Street, from North Hughey Avenue to Crystal Lake Drive/Maguire Boulevard.

Study team members will be available to discuss the study and to answer questions.

Participants may provide public comment at any time. Written comments may also be submitted during the meeting or by mail. Please send your comments no later than June 3, 2019, to Heather Garcia, 719 South Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL 32720, or by e-mail at [email protected].
