The College Park Main Street (Website) is looking for a new director following the announcement that their current ED, Jeff Kurtz, will be moving to Africa.
Kurtz was hired by the College Park Main Street program in December 2017, after working as a director for Main Street Waterloo, Iowa and in Fernandina Beach.
Kurtz took to social media to make the announcement earlier in the week claiming that it was time for a change and that he would be taking a break to participate in a nine-month humanitarian program called One World where he will be sent to Zambia.
The board of directors has already begun searching for a new executive director to lead the local Main Street, but in the interim will be led by interim executive director, Reggie Lyons, who is also the director of events and fundraising.
