Austrian filmmaker/artist Johannes Grenzfurthner is coming to Orlando to share a lecture on porn at The Nook on Robinson this Saturday, June 22.
Grenzfurthner will focus on porn’s ripples in society and how mankind as a tool-using species is affected by technology and its relationship with sex in a 60-minute lecture entitled, “Sex, Tech, and the Future of Screw-It-Yourself.”
Following the talk, Grenzfurthner (we can’t stop saying his name), will screen about 90-minutes worth of the best films from the 2019 Porn Film Festival Vienna. It must be noted (for some of you) that in this case, “best” means films that best challenge mainstream porn and promote feminist and queer narratives; not just pizza delivery boys and big boobs.
The evening lifts off at 7 p.m. at The Nook on Robinson, which is located at 2432 E. Robinson Street [GMap] in The Milk District.
