The City of Orlando is looking to fill a full-time contract position for a Landscape Architect.

Now you may be thinking they’re looking for a professional weed machine, but that’s not the case. They’re looking for someone to work with the City on preparing detailed landscape architecture plans for City parks, public grounds, and City facilities.

Work would involve preparing preliminary studies of targeted development areas, sketches, working drawings, and cost estimates. All work would be reviewed by the Families, Parks, and Recreation Planner and Grants Manager as the projects progress.

While not specifically related to the City’s 10-Minute Walk Initiative, the Landscape Architect would have a large role in shaping future green spaces projects in The City Beautiful.

This position will have the same benefits as a regular full-time employee.

Starting salary ranges from $50,710-63,440 per year depending on qualifications. Click HERE to read the full job description or to apply.
