Catalyst Spaces (Facebook | Website), the industrial-chic co-working space that opened in 2015 in Downtown Orlando, will close at the end of the month.

Catalyst founder, Dennis Pape, announced on their Facebook page that their landlord had decided not to renew their lease, but a representative of the building owner informed us that there were no actual discussions of renewing the lease and that it was an amicable and mutual ending.

During their almost five years of operations, Catalyst served over 300 members in roughly 100 companies.

The 7,000 SF shared workspace was located on the corner of Orange and Central at 1 S. Orange Avenue[Gmap], on the former roof of the building, which was built in 1913, before being added to by a later owner. You could see that quilted-together architecture on display in certain parts of the space.

JLL Property (Website) is handling the leasing of the space once Catalyst has left.
