Orange County Brewers (Facebook Website) opened their downtown brewery and tasting room in August 2017 but had some issues keeping a food partner to operate the stand at the rear of the space. They opened with Orlando Pizza and Wing Co., which was then followed by a Pizza Bruno annex and then more recently by Orlando Meats.

They have since announced that they will cease operations of their taproom on Sunday, August 4. They will continue to brew in the building through the end of the month as they open their new space in Lake Mary at 1117 International Parkway [GMap].

Orange County Brewers’ owner, Jeremy Roberts, told Bungalower the following in a prepared statement sent by his PR company:

With the increased demand in our distribution and our continued expansion throughout the area, it now makes more sense to move our retail operations to our new Lake Mary location …We thank everyone for their support, and we look forward to the future.

Roberts told Bungalower that a new concept will be opening in the downtown space shortly but that nothing could be made public at this time.

The team at Orlando Meats was not ready to make a comment.
