Yum Yum Cupcake Truck creators return with new restaurant

-

The duo behind the game-changing food truck, Yum Yum Cupcakes, have returned to Orlando to open a new restaurant in the SODO District.

Hungry Pants (Instagram | Website) will open this fall in the SODO District at 3421 S. Orange Avenue [GMap] in the former home of Carol’s Diner which will be closing on August 11.

Hungry Pants will feature sandwiches, salads, and bowls for the “plant curious” meaning people who may not be vegetarian all the time but can appreciate something with a chickpea in it.

Yum Yum’s former owners, Joey Conicella and Alex Marin, sold the business in 2014 to new owners who planned to open a shop in the Altamonte Mall but instead closed the truck a year later. More on that HERE.

An exact opening date is not set but they are expected to be open this fall.
