Blue Bird Bake Shop (Facebook| Website) is finally open again. Well, sort of.
The award-winning cupcake shop sold to new owners last year and almost immediately after experienced a massive water leak in their kitchen which kept them closed for months to rebuild.
The shop is currently in a soft opening phase until August 29 with operating hours from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The only thing is, they won’t be selling any cupcakes.
Guests can purchase one-pound bags of Top Hat coffee beans and enjoy some free cupcakes while the new staff is trained and brought up to speed.
A grand re-opening event will be held on August 29 and last for four days, but hopefully with a display case full of yummy cupcakes.
