AdventHealth has announced the upcoming installation of two massive sculptural works headed to their Winter Park campus.

The hospital group has retained the talents of JEFRE, the man behind The Beacon at Lake Nona and its neighbor, a prismatic/mirrored dog sculpture that we photographed HERE.

A 20-foot diameter halo made of mirrored stainless steel will be installed on the property, inspired by a verse from The Bible, which will be engraved on the ring itself.

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. They are plans for good … to give you a future and a hope.”
– Jeremiah 29:11

A screen wall with a temporary picture of Florida landscape, photographed by Paul Marcellini (Website), will be erected as a background and frame to the halo sculpture as well. Comprised of a mesh metal that will slowly be covered by creeping gif plants.

The AdventHealth campus opened in Winter Park in 1955 but has recently been undergoing substantial renovations, including the opening of the new Nicholson Pavilion this past July.

A final timeline for installation has not been announced at this time.
