Hoi Nguyen, one of the brains behind King Bao and Poke Hana, has just told Bungalower that he is opening a new concept just up the street in partnership with his brother Vic Nguyen.
Chi-Kin (Instagram) will specialize in Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) wings, half and whole chicken, tenders, and popcorn. Nguyen told us that they’ll also be serving custom bibimbap bowls, a variety of bonchon, and honey brick toast desserts.
Chi-Kin is expected to open in the former home of Noodles and Rice at 813 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] by mid-November following some major work on the interior of the restaurant.
