The curbside collection of garbage, recycling, large items and yard waste for households in unincorporated Orange County is scheduled to return to normal on Monday, September 23.

The service delays began in early September due to the possible threat of Hurricane Dorian, which blew past Central Florida on Wednesday, September 4. According to a county spokesperson, it took three weeks for teams to catch up, including working on Saturdays.

Items can now be placed at the curb prior to 6 a.m. on the regular collection day.

The online search tool www.ocfl.net/CollectionSchedule will reflect normal designated days beginning Monday, September 23.
