RENDERING VIA DOLLARGENERAL.COM

DGX, a new retail concept owned by Dollar General (Website), has signed a long-term lease in the newly-opened Modera building downtown.

Where Dollar General has traditionally made the most ripples in rural markets, its new DGX concept is tailor-made for urban centers and targets millennials. Most of the stores have a footprint of 3,000-7,000 SF and offer quick service items like coffee and grab-and-go food options but they also have limited grocery items, cleaning supplies, and sundries.

DGX also offers a faster checkout lane for high-volume, smaller basket purchases to get people in-and-out.

The University Club opened in the same building in April 2019. Click HERE to get a look at the interior.
