Shari Sushi (Facebook | Website) in Thornton Park is temporarily closed.

The restaurant, owned by Chris Mistretta, has been closed for roughly a week leading up to Come Out With Pride Weekend. Shari management posted the following photo on their Instagram account three days ago with the following message.

“Until the transition of new ownership of Shari is complete, we’ll be closed effective immediately. We’ll keep you posted with updates as soon as we get them. This should only be temporary and we look forward to seeing you guys again soon. We appreciate the support over the years from each and every one of our guests and staff. Without all of you it would’ve never last this long.”

Shari has been operating out of 621 E. Central Boulevard [GMap] since 2002. While a request to Shari management for more information has gone unanswered, an earlier report by Scott Joseph, HERE, says there may already be someone interested in reopening it in the near future.
