The College Park Cafe (Facebook), located in a small retail strip in the heart of College Park at 2304 Edgewater Drive [GMap] was recently sold to new owner Julio Pelegreno.
The tiny restaurant space has been completely renovated and now boasts new tile throughout, new tables, bar stools, and new bathrooms. The walls are also sporting some vintage photos of College Park, including a shot from a 50’s Edgewater High prom night.
Pelegreno’s family is Cuban and has added some new items to the menu including steaks and Cuban sandwiches but has kept some of the regular items from their predecessors like meatloaf and pot roast but they’ve kept the original cook.
College Park Cafe is open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday to Monday and 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday.
