We told you HERE in August 2019 that the bow tie-wearing Yum Yum Cupcake Truck creators were returning to Orlando to open a new restaurant in Orlando. Well, they just announced their soft-opening date and it’s next week.
Hungry Pants (Instagram | Website) will soft-open in the former home of Carol’s Diner at 3421 S. Orange Avenue [GMap] on Monday, October 28 through Saturday, November 2.
Menu items will feature healthy, vegetable-focused dishes like cauliflower and sweet potato tots, roasted brussels sprouts dishes, curry lime tempeh sandwiches, kale caesar salads, and more.
The restaurant features a mural by Secret Society Goods’ designer Sean Walsh.
The soft-open hours will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Following the launch, provided everything goes well, co-owner Joey Conicella told Bungalower that regular hours will be 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday to Sunday.
Brunch is planned to be launched after the holidays.
