So, from what we understand, this gig is all about making sure the downtown streetscape looks good at all times and can hold up to the hundreds of events we have every year.

The City of Orlando is hiring a Downtown Facility Supervisor whose job it is to oversee the landscape, streetscape, and refuse maintenance program in the downtown Orlando right-of-way.

Their primary duties are to supervise routine patrol operations, coordinate and schedule various events, promote facility usage, inspect city facilities, and enforce rules.

All work is performed under the general supervision of the Community Redevelopment Agency Executive Director.

Minimum requirements include a bachelors degree in Horticulture or a related field and one year of experience supervising operations and maintenance of multi-purpose facilities.

The salary ranges from $24.75-$31.55 an hour.
