Mills Avenue will be closed in both directions starting Wednesday, November 6 and is expected to remain closed for at least three months.
The closure will take place between South Street and Anderson Street so crews can install new sanitary sewer infrastructure under the roadway. The crews will essentially be installing a new gravity sewer line and a sanitary force main to transfer “material” to Lift Station One, which is currently being built at the corner of Mills and South Street.
Detour signs will be posted along the following routes until approximately February 2020.
