EDIT: Island Time has been in a soft-open phase for the past month.

Thornton Park’s Island Time (Facebook | Website) will officially reopen to the public under new ownership on November 22.

Owners Andrew Anderson and Devon Tillman both studied at Le Cordon Bleu and have over 35 years of experience in Central Florida kitchens. The newly refreshed space will feature local beers on tap, food made with locally-sourced ingredients, and live music events on the outdoor patio.

The menu is described as “Caribbean-inspired with a Southern accent” and will have seasonally rotating dishes, including brunch options. Fall specials will feature slow-braised Caribbean oxtail, a Jamaican salmon escovitch, Latin-style meatloaf meatballs, and frozen sangrias.

MEATLOAF MEATBALLS
